This website is operated by Retușescu. Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Retușescu. This website, including all information, tools, and services available to the user on this site, is offered subject to your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions, including any additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced here and/or available through hyperlinks.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the website, including, without limitation, users who are customers, merchants, and/or content contributors.

Tailoring and Alteration Services

For hygiene reasons, we reserve the right not to accept clothing items that are dirty, have an unpleasant odor, or prevent the alteration work from being carried out properly.

The alteration of products is performed carefully by professionally certified staff and in accordance with the texture and fabric of the material, such as leather, linen, velvet, silk, cotton, and others.

We cannot guarantee the quality of the finished products if you choose not to rely on our professional advice regarding the Measuring Guide and use alternative measurements.

Products that have been worked on and are not to your satisfaction may be returned for rework at no additional cost within 7 calendar days, with proof of payment, fiscal receipt, and only if the measurements were taken by a RETUȘESCU employee or if the item did not require measurements, for example: zippers, snap fasteners, pockets, linings, and similar works.

Additional costs may apply for extra work if it is found that the measurements were not provided correctly by the customer and the product is too tight, too loose, too short, or too long. Therefore, if you are not sure that you have provided the measurements correctly according to the Measuring Guide, please contact one of our employees for assistance.

We do not offer refunds for orders cancelled before completion. Payments are non-refundable, and the full balance must be paid when the products are picked up by one of our drivers, either by card or in cash.

For any complaint, rework, refund, or discount requested by you or by your representative(s) to be considered, you must notify us within 7 calendar days from the day the clothing was delivered to the nominated address.

For such complaints, rework, refunds, discounts, compensation, the full invoice, and the clothing items must be physically presented to our staff for inspection before any arrangement can be considered.

You will need to visit a Retușescu center in order for your order to be reworked.

The customer is responsible for receiving the clothing delivered within the time interval established by them. If the established delivery time is not respected and we do not find anyone at the delivery address, the customer will personally collect the products from one of our tailoring centers.

The customer is required to keep the order receipt until the products submitted for alteration are delivered.

The delivery time may exceed 48 hours if an order exceeds the amount of 200 RON; however, the execution time will be communicated to the customer by the support team.

The amounts listed in the “price list” are not fixed. They represent the minimum prices from which the respective operations start and may change depending on several factors, such as difficult-to-work materials, the complexity of the alteration, products incorrectly altered by other tailoring workshops, and similar situations.

The minimum order value is 100 RON for distances greater than 5 km from the main Retușescu center located at 55 Basarabia Boulevard.

Additional General Conditions

Retușescu reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, and the changes will apply immediately after being published on the website.

Continuing to use our website after the publication of changes implies acceptance of those changes.

Limitation of Liability

Retușescu is not responsible for indirect losses or damages resulting from the use of our services, within the limits permitted by law.

Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Romania.

Any dispute will be settled in accordance with the laws in force in Romania, and the competent courts in Bucharest will have exclusive jurisdiction.
